Blessed by Easter

Easter Sunday was a glimpse of heaven—our renewed sanctuary filled to the brim with people, light, and holy joy. We witnessed 14 individuals commit their lives to Christ through baptism—each one a powerful story of transformation and hope.

From the moment guests arrived, they were met with the warm smiles of our welcome team, whose hospitality helped make the sacred feel personal. The sanctuary was adorned with stunning flowers, each bloom a whisper of resurrection beauty. Every detail mattered—the new welcome cards, meticulously cut and thoughtfully placed, the gentle hands of communion servers, the quiet leadership of those guiding our children in worship and wonder. Our children shaped blooming living crosses, their hands and hearts echoing the resurrection story. The worship band led us tenderly and powerfully, their songs creating sacred space for encounter. In Charis Park, laughter rang out as our teens welcomed neighbors to a joyful Easter egg hunt under spring skies. And through it all, the warmth of our hospitality team’s beautiful brunch gathered us around tables, reminding us that resurrection is not just a story—it is a feast, a community, a living truth. Christ is risen. Indeed.

These photos capture just a glimpse of the joy and connection we experienced. We’re so grateful for this community and the ways you show up to love your neighbor in every season.

With gratitude, Sunset Ridge Church
