Adult Formation

  • Formation at 10:15 AM—Fellowship Hall

    Between our two worship services, adults gather in Fellowship Hall for one of two ongoing groups:

    • Between the Words A gathering for anyone who wants to unfold the week's Scripture together in community. Each week stands on its own, so come as you're able—no prep required, no pressure to have it all figured out. Adults and teens welcome.

    • BEMA Podcast Discussion Group A conversational group exploring the BEMA Discipleship Podcast—a deep dive into Scripture through its ancient Jewish context. A great option if you love digging into the "why" behind the text.

  • You’re invited to Wednesday Nights at Sunset Ridge. For 12 weeks during the fall and spring, we gather for a community supper at 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall—a simple meal together before the rest of the evening begins. At 6:30 PM, programming continues for children and high schoolers, while adults gather for communal Scripture study or meet in their Discipleship Groups. We wrap up by 8:00 PM.

    It's one of the best ways to find your footing midweek and stay connected to the people you worship with on Sundays. We'd love to see you there. Contact Den with any questions.

  • These are small groups of 4 - 6 people that meet throughout the week to reflect and respond to Spirit-led discipleship. These groups share life together, study Scripture, discern together, and support one another in the Christian life. If you're looking for something more intimate than a Sunday morning class, a discipleship group might be the right next step. Email Den if you're interested in joining or learning more.

  • Tuesdays, 7:00 AM & 9:00 AM

    All men from our community are welcome to join this weekly discipleship group led by Pastor Scott Heare. Come for conversational Bible study, honest discussion, and the kind of community that carries you through the week. Email Scott for more information.

  • Each year, the women of Sunset Ridge gather for an overnight retreat—a chance to step away from the everyday, connect with one another, and be renewed together. It's a highlight of the year for many in our community.
