A Christmas Blessing for our Church

Jess Lowry, Executive Director, Sunset Ridge Collective
Merry Christmas to our beloved Church. We pray this season is holding you with warmth and hope and an abundance of love.

Merry Christmas from Sunset Ridge Church,
Theresa, Taylor, Noelle (and Bass), Jess, Scott, Nancy, Caroline, Sean, Jan, and Mae

As you enter these last days of the year, may you be reminded of the magnitude of God’s unending love for you.

In the mystery that is a God coming helpless, vulnerable, and humble, may you be inspired by the call to show up in the world for those who experience helplessness.

When your eyes meet the eyes of another human being, may you find connection, even if only for a moment, and remember that we all need each other.

May you know that when you are isolated, when you are sad, when you feel grief, you are never alone.

In the twinkle of a Christmas light or the flicker of a candle, may you be reminded that light shines most brightly in the dark.

May this reminder serve as the courage needed to shine the light of Christ in the world.

In these final moments of the year, may there be time for rest, for reflection, to be still, and to breathe.

As you look to the moments ahead, may your heart be filled with hope, your focus be steadfast, and your actions be filled with goodness and love.

Announcement from Our Leaders

Our annual budget is posted on the bulletin board outside of the kitchen for your review.  Along with the standard budget you see posted each year we have included our actual spending for 2024, and the balances of our reserve and investment accounts.

The budget is pending member vote which is scheduled for December 29 at 10:00am in the Chapel.  All members of the church are invited to be present for the vote.

As we close out this 75th year of Sunset Ridge Church of Christ, we stand in awe of all God has done among us.  This milestone reminds us of God’s faithfulness, the countless lives touched, and the enduring mission to share the love of Jesus.  With gratitude for the past and hope for the future, we look forward to the ways God will continue to work through this community in the years to come–for God’s glory.

With love and gratitude–

Dick, Kim, Glenna, Melanie, and Nathan
Trustees of Sunset Ridge
