  • Jess Lowry

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Jess brings her gifting in both ministry and leadership to her role as Executive Director and Pastoral Leader at Sunset Ridge. She earned a Masters of Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary and has served Sunset Ridge Church for 10 years. Prior to that she spent 10 years in business leadership and management. Jess has a calling to point each person to the belovedness that they carry, and a heart for eye-to-eye conversations over a good cup of coffee. She spends her time with her husband Nathan, who plays guitar in our worship band, and her three children Luca, Julian, and Shiloh—who are each her favorite. When not on campus she can be found adventuring, hosting dance parties, attending Pearl Jam concerts, or with her nose in a book.

  • Scott Heare

    PASTOR

    A Pastor at heart, Scott has served congregations for 30 years in San Antonio and Austin. Simultaneously, he has worked within non-profit organizations to develop wide-ranging initiatives, plant new churches, and assist in liminal seasons.

    Presently, Scott is focused on Global Human Flourishing in the Austin/San Antonio corridor.

    Scott lives in San Antonio with his wife, Cathi and their two youngest sons.

  • Taylor Bates

    DEPUTY DIRECTOR

    Taylor brings her creativity and over 15 years of nonprofit experience to helping implement the vision for the Sunset Ridge Collective. She grew up at Sunset Ridge Church and is thrilled to be a part of shaping it for future generations. She has a Master’s degree in Art Education from The University of Texas at Austin and has worked in various nonprofit spaces creating community and bringing new ideas to life. She was previously the Director of Programs & Exhibitions at Artpace San Antonio. Taylor is a proud mama of two children and is married to Hunter who is the Worship Leader and keyboard player for the 11am worship service.

  • Mae Czarnecki

    COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

    Mae is a seventh generation Texan, artist, and mother of three daughters. As a San Antonio transplant, Mae has been a family photographer since 2010 and has become a leader in her industry through images and education. As Communications Coordinator, she is producing honest and vulnerable imagery and storytelling to continuing building community in Terrell Heights and Sunset Ridge Collective.

  • Noëlle Lowry

    COLLECTIVE COORDINATOR

    After growing up in Sunset Ridge Church, heading off to Texas A&M, and graduating with a degree in Business Marketing, Noëlle came back to help build Sunset Ridge Church’s Instagram and Facebook presence. Since then she has taken on an administrative role with Sunset Ridge Collective and will also utilize her professional experience as a wedding coordinator to help shape the Collective’s missional wedding rental program.

  • Nancy Campos

    WELCOME AMBASSADOR

    Nancy has lived in San Antonio since 2013. She has a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Secondary Education. Prior to working at Sunset Ridge, she has worked as a math teacher and an insurance adjuster. Nancy loves singing, playing guitar, drinking coffee, spending time in nature, and being with family and friends. She also enjoys being a member of the Worship Band. In her spare time, you can find her playing Mario Kart with her husband and twin boys or relaxing on her back porch swing.

  • Sean Carlin

    CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR

    Sean has lived in San Antonio most of her life, and has been a member at Sunset Ridge since 1976, joining the church office staff in 2005. She has a B.A. in English from Texas A&M University. Sean and her husband, Bob, are the proud parents of two amazing daughters.

  • Jan Moore

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    Jan is a retired special education teacher and school administrator. For the majority of their careers, she and her husband, Larry Bob, taught in La Vernia, TX, where they also raised their son, John Carter. Jan began working in the church office one week after her retirement in 2007. Some of her greatest joys are time spent with John Carter and her granddaughter, Carter Sage, the annual trip to Leakey, TX where she and Larry Bob spend 3 days with close college friends and time spent laughing at their pups, Linus and Lucy and at the antics of Waddles, the church cat.
