The men at Sunset Ridge demonstrate Servant Leadership in many ways. From the group of men who build churches and homes in Honduras each year to the young men who prepare massive meals for community outreach, our men lead by example and live true lives of service.
Serving in His Steps
Sunset Ridge men gather frequently to work on service projects for the community. For more information about Serving in His Steps, or if you know of someone in need of assistance, please contact Jeff Mankins or Jim Jennings.
Retired Men's Fellowship meets for lunch once a month at Salsalito Cantina Mexican Restaurant (14535 Nacogdoches Rd.) All retired men of the congregation are invited.
Cooking with Christ
Sunset Ridge Men coordinate food for annual events reaching out to the community, working together with the children's and youth ministries, and with the church at large. For more information, contact Scott Stephens.
Helping Hands Ministry consists of a group of members who provide services to other members. These services include assisting with transportation, performing minor home repairs and maintenance, and visiting members that are homebound or hospitalized. Contact Dewey Carlson or the church office to get assistance or to volunteer to serve with Helping Hands.
